Teck Guan’s oil palm industry, a core focus of investment, includes large-scale cultivation, crude palm oil milling, palm kernel oil extraction, and oleo-chemical refining. As of 2012, the company operates seven crude palm oil mills and a palm kernel oil extraction plant, all located in Sabah, which is known for its high palm oil yields due to its favorable climate.
